Irene firmly believes that gardens should be considered as important as our homes, because their purpose is much more than an occasional outdoor space.

Each garden, no matter how small or shady, represents an important way for us to abandon technology for a while, reconnect with nature and maybe work for its maintenance, which in return contributes tremendously to improve our mental health.

At the heart of her philosophy lies the belief that our home and garden need to be intimately connected and aesthetically harmonious, because they are not separate entities.  

Biography

After a life in the legal field, Irene decided to follow her genuine passion for gardens and studied first with the RHS to acquire botanical knowledge and then with the London College of Garden Design at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, graduating in July 2024.
